4-H/ARMY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROJECT SALUTES CASEY MULL
The 4-H/Army Youth Development Project Salute Award was established to recognize 4-H/Extension staff for their work with Army Child and Youth Services staff and establishing 4-H opportunities for Army youth both on Garrisons and in local communities. Extension staff work directly with Active, Guard and Reserve components to provide educational opportunties and experiences for Army Youth through their work on Military 4-H Clubs and Operation: Military Kids.

2009 - Casey Mull - Georgia
Casey Mull, 4-H Military Liaison for the state of Georgia, was selected to receive the NAE4-HA 2009 4-H/Army Youth Development Project Salute Award. Casey provides exemplary leadership to the 4-H military program in Georgia including the six Army garrisons. As the State Liaison he manages all aspects of the statewide military partnerships program. 4-H Clubs are available to Army youth on and off the installations throughout the state. With Casey's leadership and organization, camping opportunities for military youth have increased to include week long 4-H camps and Operation Purple Camps. Casey is a dedicated leader and mentor whose work has touched the lives of many military youth. The Salute Award was presented to Casey at the 2009 NAE4-HA Conference in Rochester, New York on October 29, 2009.
